Our transition program has been developed to help make starting school a positive experience for all involved.
The importance of transition is now well acknowledged in research, policy and early childhood professionals’ practice with children and families.
Transitions are opportunities for educators to recognise each child’s interests, cultures and abilities and to build on these in meaningful ways.
Our 4-day ‘Step Into Prep’ orientation program provides classroom immersion experiences for children and families on:
Thursday 12 October 2023 at 8:45-10am
Thursday 26 October 2023 at 8:45-10am
Thursday 16 November 2023 at 8:45-10am
Thursday 30 November 9-11am
We are holding open days for school tours and enrolment assistance on:
Thursday 27 July 2023 from 9-11am
Thursday 24 August from 9-11am
Our transition program is FREE and open to all families and children who are ready to start school in 2024…
School Start Dates for our Foundation ‘Class of 2024’
The first day of school for Foundation 2024 is Thursday 1 February.
Students attend 9am - 3:30pm every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday throughout February. Students do not attend school on Wednesday 7, Wednesday 14 or Wednesday 21 February unless they have an assessment appointment.
From 26 February onwards, students attend every day of the week.
